Return Policy — Chymora
Our Return Promise
We want every Chymora memorial wind chime to bring lasting comfort. If for any reason your purchase doesn't meet your expectations, here's how we handle returns and refunds.
30-Day Return Window
You may request a return for any non-personalized product within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.
Personalized & Custom Photo Products — Non-Returnable
Because they are made specifically for you, personalized wind chimes with custom photo pendants are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective. This is industry-standard practice for custom-made memorial gifts and is clearly disclosed at checkout.
If your personalized item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a replacement at no cost.
Damaged or Defective Items (All Products)
If any item arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect:
- Email us at hello@chymora.com within 7 days of delivery.
- Include your order number and clear photos of the damage.
- We will arrange a free replacement or full refund — your choice.
You do NOT need to ship damaged items back unless we specifically request it.
How to Start a Return (Standard Products)
- Visit our Returns Portal at chymora.com/account or reply to your order confirmation email.
- Select the item(s) you wish to return and the reason.
- We will email you a prepaid return shipping label (or instructions if you prefer your own carrier).
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
- Drop off at any USPS / UPS location.
Return Shipping
- Free return shipping for items damaged in transit or with manufacturing defects (our responsibility).
- Customer-paid return shipping for change-of-mind returns. The cost is deducted from your refund.
Refund Processing
Once we receive your return:
- Inspection: 1–2 business days
- Refund issued to original payment method: 3–5 business days after inspection
- Bank processing: typically 5–10 business days to appear on your statement
Total time from drop-off to refund-in-account: usually 10–14 business days.
Exchanges
We will gladly exchange a non-personalized item for a different design or size within the 30-day window. Simply note "exchange" in your return request and tell us what you'd like instead.
